In the 66 matches played, Ruturaj Gaikwad has scored 2,380 runs at a strike rate of 136.86. 

 

Devon Conway

The left-handed New Zealand batter, Devon Conway will be seen opening alongside captain Ruturaj Gaikwad this season. Conway’s aggressive approach at the start of the innings will be crucial for the team during the powerplay. In 23 matches played, Devon Conway has scored 924 runs with a strike rate of 141.28. 

 

Rahul Tripathi

Rahul Tripathi, an experienced Indian batter, will be playing at the number three position. Despite not having a great IPL 2024 season, CSK continues with him in the upcoming season as well. In the 95 matches played, Rahul Tripathi has scored 2,236 runs with a strike rate of 139.31. 

 

Shivam Dube

Shivam Dube, known for his hitting abilities in the final overs, will be a key player for the Chennai Super Kings during for the finishers' role. Along with the bat, he can also ball some overs, which will be helpful to the team. In the 65 matches he has played, Shivam Dube has scored 1,502 runs with a strike rate of 146.68 and has taken 5 wickets at an economy rate of 9.64.

 

Rachin Ravindra

The young New Zealand batter, Rachin Ravindra who is in great form in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 and has scored two centuries, will be batting in the middle order for CSK. In the 10 matches played, Rachin Ravindra has scored 222 runs with a strike rate of 160.87.

 

MS Dhoni (wk)

The legendary captain, who won five IPL titles for Chennai Super Kings, is likely playing his last season. Ravindra Jadeja
