Stuart Thompson

Stuart Robert Thompson is an Irish cricketer who plays as a bowler, bats left-handed, and bowls right-arm medium-fast. Born in Derry, Northern Ireland, on August 15, 1991, he most recently captained the CSNI club team in 2025. His father, Nigel Thompson, also played for Ireland. 

In 2016, Thompson took a break from cricket to address performance anxiety, returning to the game after receiving treatment. He last represented the Irish national team in 2019.
