Yuvraj Singh Set to Join Lucknow Super Giants? Photo With Rishabh Pant Sparks IPL 2026 Rumours

Yuvraj Singh is one of the most talented white-ball players India has ever had. While everyone is excited about the T20 World Cup now, he has already achieved it all, winning both the T20 World Cup and the ODI World Cup for India. Well, we are talking about the Indian Premier League (IPL), which is going to restart in 20 days from now. Just recently, Yuvraj Singh was spotted with Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) captain and India’s current superstar Rishabh Pant.
In fact, Lucknow Super Giants themselves posted the picture where Rishabh Pant was seen talking to Yuvraj Singh during a training session. They captioned the post, “IPL 2026, get ready.” The post has now started many speculations among fans. The biggest one being the idea of Yuvraj perhaps joining the Lucknow franchise. While he can individually train Pant.

Is Yuvraj Singh set to join Lucknow Super Giants?
There’s a weight behind this too, considering Yuvraj was seen helping Sanju Samson before the World Cup too. However, the rumours of Yuvraj perhaps joining LSG aren’t new as well. Last year, Insidesport revealed that Yuvraj was in serious talks with LSG. The franchise ideally wanted the former all-rounder to become the new head coach of the team. While the move never came to fruition, the desire for LSG to have Yuvraj as part of their camp hasn’t died down.
Having said that, Lucknow Super Giants parted ways with mentor Zaheer Khan after just one season. The team then appointed Bharat Arun as their bowling coach, who had previously worked with India national cricket team and Kolkata Knight Riders. Meanwhile, Carl Crowe has joined the LSG team as their spin bowling coach, bringing his valuable experience from his previous stint with KKR.
With Kane Williamson also stepping in as a strategic advisor, the Rishabh Pant-led Lucknow Super Giants looks packed with experience and cricketing brains.
Ideally, the team would want someone like Yuvraj Singh to replace Zaheer Khan as the mentor of the side.
