In reply, UP Warriorz struggled to build partnerships and crumbled under pressure against Gujarat’s disciplined bowling attack. They were bowled out for just 105.

Gujarat Giants Women batted first but suffered an early setback in the powerplay when opener Hemalatha scored just 2 runs before Chinelle Henry got her to play a mistimed shot, which was safely caught by Uma Chetry.

Even after the early setback, Beth Mooney and Harleen Deol handled the pressure well. They put together an important 101-run partnership for the second wicket, helping the Giants cross the 100-run mark in just 12 overs.

Harleen fell just five runs short of her half-century, but Mooney stole the show with a stunning unbeaten knock of 96 runs off just 59 balls, smashing 17 boundaries. Thanks to her brilliant innings, the Gujarat Giants put up a strong total of 186 runs in their 20 overs.

Gujarat Giants started the second innings with a full of confidence. Deandra Dottin gave them an early breakthrough by dismissing UP Warriorz opener Kiran Navgire for a golden duck.

Kiran went after a wide delivery outside off stump, but it was a loose shot. Litchfield at slip reacted quickly and took a brilliant catch, making no mistake.

Navgire got out early, which led to a sudden batting collapse. UP Warriorz Women quickly lost four wickets in a short span during the powerplay.

UP Warriorz struggled right from the start after losing early wickets in the powerplay. Kashvee Gautam and Tanuja Kanwar struck twice each, putting the middle order under pressure. Chinelle Henry fought back with a quick 28 off 14 balls, but the required run rate kept climbing, making the chase impossible.

UP Warriorz got bowled out for just 105 runs in the second inning, leading to an 81-run victory for Gujarat Giants Women.
