WPL 2025 Auction: Complete List of Sold Players and Updated Team S

Simran Shaikh, Deandra Dottin, G Kamalini, and Prema Rawat all were the talk of the town as the Women's Premier League (WPL) held its auction on Sunday, December 15. Five teams bought 19 players to strengthen their squads for Rs 9.05 crore. Most expensive player turned out to be Simran Shaikh, a former UP Warriorz, who was signed by Gujarat Giants for Rs 1.90 crore.

The Gujarat Giants also made a big move by picking Deandra Dottin, the first player to go under the hammer, for Rs 1.70 crore. Meanwhile, 16-year-old G Kamalini caught the spotlight after being signed by 2023 champions Mumbai Indians for Rs 1.60 crore. Kamalini was in top form earlier that day, delivering a match-winning performance as India defeated Pakistan by nine wickets in the Women's U19 Asia Cup in Kuala Lumpur.

The leg-spinner from Uttarakhand, Prema Rawat was picked by Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) for Rs 1.20 crore. RCB brought fresh talent into their camp with names of Joshitha VJ, Jagravi Pawar, and Raghvi Bist. Delhi Capitals strengthened the players in their team, mainly big-hitting Nandini Kashyap, Scotland wicketkeeper Sarah Bryce, and Women's U19 captain Niki Prasad.

Nadine de Klerk, who played for RCB last season, will now wear the Mumbai Indians jersey under the leadership of Harmanpreet Kaur. Australian leg-spinner Alana King, who has performed well for Perth Scorchers, has been picked by the UP Warriorz. Sneh Rana, who had captained Gujarat Giants as a stand-in in the first season, went unsold in this year's auction.
