[ Poll: ALxvvQwY ]

Arjun Tendulkar, son of former India captain and cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar, has got engaged to Saaniya Chandok, granddaughter of well-known Mumbai businessman Ravi Ghai. It was a small, intimate ceremony, with only close family and friends gathered to celebrate the special day.

In the IPL, he has turned out for the Mumbai Indians in five matches, bowling 73 balls and picking up three wickets at an average of 38.00, with his best figures being 1/9. His economy rate stands at 9.36 and his strike rate at 24.3. With the bat, he hasn’t had many chances, scoring 13 runs off nine balls at a strike rate of 144.44, with his highest score being 13.

Who is Saaniya Chandok?

Saaniya prefers to stay away from the limelight and comes from one of Mumbai’s well-known business families. The Ghai family is a big name in the hospitality and food world, owning the InterContinental hotel and the popular ice cream brand, Brooklyn Creamery. As per official records from the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Saaniya Chandok is a partner and director at Mr. Paws Pet Spa & Store LLP, a pet care business in Mumbai.

Ravi Iqbal Ghai is a well-known name in Mumbai’s business world. He is the chairman of Graviss Hospitality Ltd, a family-run company with strong roots in the hospitality and ice cream business. He is the son of Iqbal Krishan “IK” Ghai, the man who started the famous Kwality Ice Cream brand and built the InterContinental hotel on Mumbai’s Marine Drive. Carrying forward this legacy, Ravi Ghai has worked hard to grow the family business both in India and abroad.

He has set up ice cream factories in the Middle East and increased exports, making the brand known in many more places. Under his leadership, Graviss Hospitality has diversified, continuing operations of the luxury InterContinental Marine Drive hotel while backing ventures such as The Brooklyn Creamery, a modern, health-focused ice cream brand founded by his grandson, Shivaan Ghai.
