After finishing the T20I series, West Indies and New Zealand will now face each other in a three-match ODI series. The matches will be played in Christchurch, Napier, and Hamilton on November 16, 19, and 22. One of the most notable inclusions on the side is that of John Campbell.

The star batter makes his return to the ODI side after six years. Furthermore, pacer Johann Layne and all-rounder Shamar Springer have also received their maiden call-ups to the ODI side. It’s worth mentioning that Campbell is making a return to ODI cricket after some strong performances in Test matches.

Talking about the ongoing series, New Zealand pulled off a great win in the fifth T20I to take the five-match series. The West Indies had started well by winning the first game but went on to lose the next two matches.

The fourth T20I was washed out due to rain, while New Zealand won the fifth match to seal the series with ease. Both teams will now meet again for the first ODI at Hagley Oval in Christchurch on November 16.
