Watch: Jasprit Bumrah's Fired-Up Celebration After Dismissing Sam Konstas in Day 4

On day 4 of the Boxing Day Test, Jasprit Bumrah's amazing performance started with his taking Sam Konstas's wicket during Australia's second innings on Sunday, December 29. Bumrah surprised the crowd with his lively performance. Knocking out the young Australian opener with the new ball, Bumrah demonstrated his skills and gave India an early boost; this made all the Indian fans at the Melbourne Cricket Ground extremely happy.
Opening the game alongside Usman Khawaja, Konstas had a tough time facing the bowling from Bumrah and Akash Deep. After demonstrating with a strong 61 in his first innings, he couldn't keep up that energy in his second innings. He managed to stay in place for only 18 balls until Bumrah bowled him out with an incredible pitch.

Bumrah was extremely hyped after mastering an excellent in-cutter in the 7th over. It felt perfect and moved quickly back, sneaking through the space between Konstas's bat and his leg guard, knocking the top of the off-stump. Konstas just stood there, shocked, not believing what happened.
On the third day, while fielding close to the boundary, the young opener Konstas tried to make the crowd excited for the match. Bumrah, during a heated moment, faced the crowd and encouraged them to make more noise, copying what Konstas had done before. It seemed like Bumrah's action was clearly giving the excitement right back to him.
Bumrah got his 200th wicket during his 44th Test match, this amazing achievement made him the 12th Indian bowler ever to reach that special number. Commentator Sunil Gavaskar humorously summed it up, saying, "Fast bowlers, they have long memories," as the cameras showed Bumrah's celebration side-by-side with Konstas's earlier gestures.
