WATCH: Jasprit Bumrah Stares at Sam Konstas After Taking Usman Khawaja's Wicket
The first day of the fifth test at the Sydney Cricket Ground was very busy, with highlights like when Indian captain Jasprit Bumrah and Australian player Sam Konstas had a tense moment. Before that happened, Virat Kohli almost got out for zero on the first ball he faced but the most exciting part happened later. Australian opener Usman Khawaja made Bumrah wait just as he was about to bowl because he signaled he wasn't ready.
That's when Konstas stepped up and signaled for Bumrah to hold off on the delivery.

As things became heated, Bumrah and Konstas got right in each other's faces. Bumrah directly asked Konstas, What's the problem? It looked like they might potentially explode but the umpire joined in fast to break them apart before it got worse. However, Bumrah had not finished yet. In his next move, he bowls a full-length ball to Usman Khawaja cannot manage; it edges off the bat right to KL Rahul.
Instead of a happy dance for taking out Khawaja, Bumrah locked eyes with Konstas, shooting him a frosty look, making the air even more tense.
When the day ended, Australia had scored 9 runs for the loss of 1 wicket, following India's innings where they were all out for 185. India didn't start great, dropping to 57 runs for the loss of 3 wickets but they managed to push the score to 107 for 4 wickets by the time it was time for a break in the afternoon. The final session was not good to India, seeing them lose their last six wickets for just 78 more runs.
Rishabh Pant scored the most for India, making 40 runs off 98 balls, and Scott Boland stood out as the best bowler for Australia, taking 4 wickets for 31 runs.
