Virat Kohli Becomes First Cricketer to Surpass 900 Rating Points Across All Formats

Virat Kohli Becomes First Cricketer to Surpass 900 Rating Points Across All Formats

Virat Kohli, a veteran of the sport, has retired from T20Is and Test cricket but continues to set new milestones. His last appearance for Royal Challengers Bengaluru in IPL 2025 saw him score an impressive 657 runs from 15 matches, including eight fifties.

In his illustrious career, Kohli has achieved unparalleled heights. His best ranking in Test cricket was 937, which he attained in 2018. The same year also saw him reach his all-time highest rating in one-day internationals with 909 points. During his prime, Virat Kohli held the No.1 spot in all three formats.

Kohli's last game for India was in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. He announced his retirement from T20Is after India's triumph in the 2024 T20 World Cup and later retired from Test cricket before the tour of England. In 123 Tests, he amassed 9230 runs, including 30 centuries and 31 half-centuries. He will now focus on ODIs, where he has already scored 14181 runs in 302 matches, with 51 tons to his name.
