UP Warriorz had kept only one player before the auction and wanted to make big changes in their squad. They used two Right to Match options for Deepti Sharma and Sophie Ecclestone. Their main buys in the auction were former Delhi Capitals captain Meg Lanning, Phoebe Litchfield, and Indian fast bowler Shikha Pandey.
