Rasik Salam Dar, a 24-year-old pacer from Jammu and Kashmir, has shown promising potential in the domestic games. He became the third cricketer from Jammu and Kashmir to play in the IPL in 2018, but due to a 2-year ban involving discrepancy issues, he was kept out of the IPL; BCCI banned him due to the fraudulent information in his birth certificate. He was acquired by Mumbai Indians in 2018, but after a 2 years ban, he again got a chance with the KKR, who picked him in the IPL 2022 auction. Later, in the IPL 2024, he joined the Delhi capitals. While the IPL 2025 auction was the most remarkable for him as RCB bought him for a massive price of 6 crores.

He is known for his hard-hitting and finisher role for Punjab in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.

He has also scored a century. While in the domestic T20 tournaments, he has the highest score of 81 runs in 47 balls.

Along with the role of finisher, he can contribute with bowling, too. In the IPL 2025 auction, Lucknow Supergiants picked him for Rs 4.20 Crore.
