The WPL 2026 auction is just a few days away, and people are really excited. With some big players set to join the auction, the interest has grown even more. The WPL 2024 winners came up with a decent WPL retention 2026 list, that included skipper Smriti Mandhana, Ellyse Perry, Richa Ghosh and Shreyanka Patil, but would have a lot of work to do, come the auction on November 27 in Delhi.
Top 3 Batters RCB Must Target in WPL 2026 Auction
GV Trisha
Remember the U19 World Cup 2024. A certain Trisha from Team India had made her name for herself as an explosive batter. In 7 matches she scored 309 at an average of 77. More importantly, her strike-rate was close to 150. If she is there is the auction list, she is a must-have.
Deandra Dottin
This West Indies all-rounder was released Gujarat Giants, and should be on RCB’s radar. She has enough experience of playing around the world, can bowl and can hit big shots. She has two tons in T20Is. In fact, more than her bowling, she is the kind of batter that RCB would love to have in their ranks.
Chamari Athapaththu
She is a hard-hitting batter from Sri Lanka. She scores quickly, with a strike rate above 110, and has three T20I hundreds. She can play attacking cricket and would be a good partner for Smriti Mandhana at the top.
