To sneak into the top two, Pakistan must defeat Sri Lanka and defeat them by a significant margin to overhaul New Zealand’s Net Run Rate (NRR) of 1.390. Anything other than that would eliminate Pakistan, and that includes a washout. Luckily for Pakistan, the Kandy sky would remain clear of the rain threat on Saturday. The conditions are forecasted to remain dry, with the temperatures hovering in the mid-20s during match hours.
