“Switch On Now” – Virat Kohli Warns RCB Ahead of IPL 2026 Season

Former Royal Challengers Bengaluru captain Virat Kohli has told his teammates to give their full effort in Indian Premier League 2026. He asked them to give more than 100% and warned them not to be lazy or take things lightly. 

RCB and Kohli ended their 18-year-wait as they finally lifted to IPL trophy in 2025 after beating PBKS in the final. Virat, who has been with RCB since his IPL debut, delivered a strong pep talk to the rest of teammates as the side begin preparation for IPL 2026.

Virat Kohli urges RCB to stay focused and give 120% ahead of IPL 2026

In a video shared by Royal Challengers Bengaluru on social media, Virat Kohli is seen giving a pep talk to his teammates. He asked them to “switch on” immediately and stay focused.

Kohli also warned that after their Indian Premier League 2025 win, other teams will come harder at them, so the competition will be tougher this season. RCB will commence their IPL 2026 campaign by taking on Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in their tournament opener on March 28.

“We do not waste these days. We stay ahead. So switch on now. Let’s not waste even a minute of any session we are a part of. We must give our 120% in these two and a half months,” Kohli said.
