Reports: To Resolve ‘No Personal Chefs’ Policy, BCCI Appoints Two Cooks for Team India

Reports: To Resolve ‘No Personal Chefs’ Policy, BCCI Appoints Two Cooks for Team IndiaThe cricket authorities in India adopted a stricter approach following the loss in the Border Gavaskar Trophy. At this moment, they made a new rule that's very firm. Before, a cricket players would bring their own cooks when they went other contries to play games so they could eat food that was perfect for them. But, the cricket leaders firmly declared that it would no longer be acceptable.

They told all the players they can't take their own cooks on trips anymore. They think this will help all the players do things in the same way and be proficient at following the rules when they are all together. They introduced this new rule shortly after announcing that you could no longer have a personal cook.

BCCI introduces "two chefs" solution for Team India

A Indian cricket team's some players, such as Virat Kohli, KL Rahul, and Hardik Pandya, have brought their own chefs with them when they go on away tours because they need special food. But now, the cricket leaders thought that they could send two cooks to make food for the entire team. The players now can decide if they like this idea or not.

The BCCI said, “The team has been given an option where the board will introduces two chefs for the players’ needs. However, there will be discussions around the specific needs of the players and what more could be done".

During a recent discussion, it was noted that the cooks preparing meals exclusively for certain players were staying at the same location where our team dines. only players and members of the coaching staff are permitted to be in the dining area. These chefs don't stay at the same place as our team and the players, they arrange another location for them to cook. But, the chefs bring the food to where our team is stayed.

The BCCI wants to hire two cooks to prepare meals for the whole team. They hope this will help players who need to eat certain foods. But it's hard to make food that everyone likes. They have to make sure the team is potentially amenable to this idea.
