Reports: Gambhir vs Rohit-Agarkar Disagreement Behind BCCI PC Delay? The Indian team captain, Rohit Sharma and the cheif selector, Ajit Agarkar. They announced the squad for upcoming 2025 Champions Trophy and the next games against England. India needed more time to select the players and asked the ICC leaders, if that was okay. They were delayed in sharing the squad, so everyone, including the fans, to wait longer despite having additional time. Finally, the meeting started later than scheduled.

Shami and Iyer included, Shubman Gill is vice captain

First they told that Rohit Sharma and Ajit Agarkar would speak to the reporters at 12:30. But it didn't start until nearly two hours because the meeting to select the team took too long. After they announced the squad for Champions Trophy, people are excited because Shreyas Iyer and Mohammed Shami coming back. Unexcepted change is Shubman Gill would be the Vice captain.

Alert: Gambhir Clashes with Rohit and Agarkar?

Abhishek Tripathi said that there was a long delay because the heads did not agree in a meeting. Gautam Gambhir really wanted Hardik Pandya to be the Vice-captain. However, Ajit Agarkar and Rohit Sharma thought Shubman Gill would be better for Vice-captain.

Gautam Gambhir wants to Sanju Samson for wicketkeeper. But, Agarkar and Rohit wanted Rishabh Pant for wicketkeeper because they thought it was important to let young players have an opportunity to play. They didn't agree with Gambhir. Gambhir said we should pick with more experience like Sanju, but Agarkar and Rohit didn't change their minds. They really wanted to let new and younger players have a chance to show their abilities.
