Islamabad United currently have the Golden Bail, introduced by the PCB to award the winner of the twin city derby. And if Rawalpindiz’s form throughout the tournament is anything to go by, Islamabad might retain the bail for the season. Rawalpindiz currently have zero points and two games left to play. Even if they win the remaining two, a four-point tally would not raise them from the bottom-most position.

Despite that, a win will save them from ending the season winless. Islamabad United, who will be playing their first game in a week, would hope against that. While they are currently in third place with nine points, a careless outing or two could see the scenario turn on its head for them. A win against Rawalpindiz, however, will give them a reprieve from the immediate threat of Hyderabad Kingsmen and Lahore Qalandars, both with eight points each.
