Peshawar Zalmi get U-19 captain Farhan Yousaf on board for PSL 11

Peshawar Zalmi has signed Pakistan U-19 captain Farhan Yousaf for the upcoming Pakistan Super League (PSL) season. Farhan earlier went unsold in the PSL auction, after registering at a base price of PKR 6 million.

However, his outings at the National T20 Cup, where he is representing Lahore Whites, are believed to have brought the eyes back to the U-19 captain. He averages 110 in the competition after playing three games, the second-best average in National T20 Cup among batters with at least 100 runs. Overall, his T20 numbers are quite incredible as well, though they make up for a small sample size. In six shortest format games, Farhan has scored 122 runs at a strike rate of 196.
Farhan is the third player signed by the franchise following the auction, with Shahnawaz Dahani and Tymal Mills being the other two.
Peshawar will begin their PSL campaign on March 28, when they will take on Pindiz in what will be the first ever PSL game at Imran Khan Cricket Stadium, Peshawar.
