PCB confirms schedule for Australia’s white-ball tour of Pakistan
Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has confirmed that Australia will tour Pakistan for a three-match ODI series following the conclusion of the Bangladesh Tests. Australia will play Pakistan in three ODI matches, starting May 30 at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.
This will mark their white-ball return to Rawalpindi for the first time since 1994. Following the first ODI, the two teams will then play the remaining games at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore, on June 2 and June 4.
Player unavailability due to IPL
Players involved in the Indian Premier League (IPL) at that point are expected to miss the series, as the tour will run around the same time as the playoff stages of the league. The Australian team is expected to arrive in Islamabad on May 23.
Pakistan are currently gearing up for their red-ball series against Bangladesh as part of the World Test Championship (WTC). The two-match series will begin on May 8, with the second Test slated to begin on May 20.
