Pakistan Cricket Board Announces Free Tickets to Attract Fans for South Africa Test Series

Pakistan vs South Africa Test series 2025 The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is offering free and cheap tickets for the upcoming two-match Test series against South Africa to attract more fans to Test cricket in Asia, including India. In the last series against England, which Pakistan lost 2-1, very few people attended with only about 1,000 fans at the first Test.

Because of their poor performances, fewer people have been coming to watch red-ball matches. To bring fans back, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is offering free and cheap tickets for the two-match Test series against South Africa. The games will be held from October 12-16 in Lahore and October 20-24 in Rawalpindi as empty stadiums have sadly become common in Pakistan’s Test cricket.

Pakistan, which has struggled in the ICC World Test Championship is not alone in facing empty stands in red-ball matches. Even India, a top Test team, has seen low attendance at home games. Recently, the first Test against the West Indies in Ahmedabad saw a large stadium with many empty seats. Some believe the absence of India’s star player, Virat Kohli is one reason fewer fans came to watch live.
