KSCA Stadium in Hubballi Set to Host Ranji Trophy Final as Karnataka Earn Home Advantage

Jammu & Kashmir have already made it to the final by defeating Bengal. Karnataka are also on the verge of making it to the final. In their semifinal match against Uttarakhand, Karnataka scored a massive lead of 513 runs, and the match is expected to end in a draw. This is almost certain for them to make it to the final.

KSCA official told PTI that,

“Karnataka vs Jammu and Kashmir, the five days final from February 24, is to be played in KSCA Stadium, Rajnagar, Hubballi,”

The M Chinnaswamy Stadium cannot be used since it has not received safety clearance yet. Karnataka had other options like Alur, but KSCA president Venkatesh Prasad has decided to conduct the final match in Rajnagar, Hubballi. The plan is to develop cricket in other parts of Karnataka since the stadium has not hosted any major match recently.
