There was a thrilling game that took place at Wankhede Stadium on April 12, 2026. Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) beat the Mumbai Indians (MI) by 18 runs.
When it came to batting, Royal Challengers batted first and ended up scoring a total of 240/4. Phil Salt gave a remarkable inning and scored 78 runs in 36 balls. On the other hand, Virat Kohli contributed a total of 50 runs. Rajat Patidar also gave an amazing performance and scored 53 runs in 20 balls.
The beginning of MI's batting was good until the time when their player, Rohit Sharma, suffered an injury and went off the field. However, Sherfane Rutherford did score 71 runs in 31 balls, while Hardik Pandya made a quick fire of 40 runs.
But unfortunately for Mumbai Indians, the target was too huge, and the number of required runs was rising every minute. As a result, Mumbai Indians scored 222/5 and ended up losing the match by 18 runs.
