It was a thrilling contest between Lucknow Super Giants and Kolkata Knight Riders held on April 9, 2026, at Eden Gardens. Lucknow required 182 runs to win the game. However, at one point, Lucknow had fallen way behind with scores of 128/7, with the team appearing to be out of the game.

Fortunately, Mukul Choudhary delivered a remarkable performance, scoring 54 runs not out from 27 deliveries and smashing seven huge sixes. Thanks to his great innings, Lucknow managed to emerge victorious by three wickets in the last delivery of the match.

In the earlier part, KKR had registered 181/4. In their lineup, Angkrish Raghuvanshi scored 45 runs, and skipper Ajinkya Rahane contributed 41 runs. Rovman Powell and Cameron Green added some valuable points in their innings.

Unfortunately, the bowlers of Kolkata Knight Riders could not cope with the pressure in the final few overs. Post-match, KKR remained in the lower ranks of the table standings, but LSG will remain optimistic about their upcoming games.
