IPL 2025 is less than a month away. This year, the eighteenth season of the prestigious franchise cricket league will be played across 13 venues. You may be wondering why there are 13 venues for 10 teams, so this article will clarify your question.

For the Indian Premier League 2025, three teams will play at two venues: their primary and secondary home grounds. Delhi Capitals, Punjab Kings, and Rajasthan Royals will have two home grounds, while all the other teams will have a single home ground.

HPCA Cricket Stadium, Dharamshala (Punjab Kings)

IPL 2025

Punjab Kings will have two home grounds this season: Mohali as their primary home venue and Dharamshala as their partial home venue. The team will play three matches in Dharamshala against the Delhi Capitals and Mumbai Indians. The schedule for these three matches is as follows.

It was expected that the team would request its home venues in Delhi itself, but after the tremendous success and fan following the team garnered in Visakhapatnam, Delhi decided to play two matches of the IPL 2025 in the city.
