IPL 2025 Schedule to Be Unveiled Next Week, Featuring New Game-Changing Regulations

The full schedule for IPL 2025 will be delayed for a little while. The tournament is set to begin on March 21, but the official fixture list has been delayed. Earlier, it was expected to be released this week, but according to Sports Tak, the IPL governing body is now likely to announce it next week.
The IPL chairman, Rajiv Shukla, has confirmed that the tournament will begin on March 21, with the final expected to be held at Kolkata's Eden Gardens.
Delhi Capitals and Rajasthan Royals to play 2 home matches, away from home
Delhi Capitals (DC) and Rajasthan Royals (RR) will play two of their home matches at away stadiums this season, instead of their regular home grounds. Delhi will host two games in Visakhapatnam (Vizag), a situation similar to last year when their home ground, Arun Jaitley Stadium, wasn’t ready due to the Women’s Premier League (WPL) concluding just before IPL 2024.
Rajasthan Royals haven't confirmed their backup venue yet, but Guwahati is the most likely choice since they've played there before.
New Code of Conduct Rules
From IPL 2025 onwards, the tournament will adopt the ICC’s Players' Code of Conduct, replacing its previous in-house guidelines. This means players will now follow the same disciplinary rules set by cricket’s global governing body.
