IPL 2025 Points Table: Updated Team Ranking, Standings, and Net Run Rate After MI vs SRH Match

Mumbai Indians beat Sunrisers Hyderabad by four wickets on April 17, but they stayed in seventh place on the IPL 2025 points table. Even though this was their second win in a row, they couldn’t move up because they chased 163 in 18.1 overs, which didn’t help improve their net run rate much. They now have six points from seven matches with a net run rate of +0.239.

The Kolkata Knight Riders continue to hold the sixth position in the IPL 2025 points table also with six points from seven games. Their better net run rate of +0.547 is the key factor that places them above the Mumbai Indians. Meanwhile, despite their defeat to MI, Sunrisers Hyderabad stay in ninth place with just four points from their seven games played.

Looking forward, Hardik Pandya's squad will stay in Mumbai for their next IPL 2025 fixture, a marquee showdown against the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) slated for April 20. Conversely, Sunrisers Hyderabad will return to their home venue and are lined up to take on the Mumbai Indians once again on April 23 in Hyderabad.
