IPL 2025 Points Table: Team Rankings After SRH vs DC Match
The IPL 2025 match between Delhi Capitals and Sunrisers Hyderabad on May 6 was called off due to continuous rain at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium. The washout turned out to be crucial for the playoff picture it helped Delhi stay in the race, but it also meant the end of the road for Sunrisers Hyderabad this season.
After the match was washed out, Delhi Capitals stayed in fifth place on the points table. They now have 13 points from six wins in eleven games, along with a solid net run rate of +0.362. For Sunrisers Hyderabad, though, the no-result was a major blow. With just three wins in eleven matches and a poor NRR of -1.192, their chances of making the playoffs are officially over.
Royal Challengers Bangalore sit comfortably at the top of the table with eight wins and just three losses, backed by a healthy net run rate of +0.482. Right behind them are the Punjab Kings, who also have only three losses from eleven games and 15 points, but a slightly lower NRR of +0.376. Mumbai Indians are in third place with 14 points from seven wins in eleven matches. Their net run rate of +1.274 is the best in the league right now, which could come in handy if teams end up tied on points as the playoff race heats up.
Gujarat Titans are in a good spot at fourth with 14 points from ten games and a solid +0.867 net run rate, plus a match in hand. Kolkata Knight Riders still have hope with 11 points from 11 matches but must win big in their last few games. Lucknow Super Giants, on 10 points after their loss to Punjab, will need plenty of help especially with a negative net run rate to sneak into the playoffs.
