IPL 2025: Bishnoi's Wild Celebration After Hitting Bumrah for Six in LSG's Tough Loss to MI

Lucknow Super Giants player Ravi Bishnoi was left ecstatic and pulled off a wild celebration after hitting none other than Mumbai Indians star Jasprit Bumrah for a six during their IPL 2025 clash on 27 April. Despite LSG being in a very troublesome position during their 216-run chase, the LSG spinner could not hold back from celebrating his rare achievement against the in-form MI pace spearhead.

The moment came on the final ball of the 18th over of LSG's innings and was even more special for Bishnoi, considering Bumrah’s devastating spell. Bumrah had already wreaked havoc with the ball, claiming a four-wicket haul, three of those scalps coming in his previous over. Bishnoi, after dispatching the final ball of Bumrah’s spell for a six, punched the air in delight, a moment that even brought smiles to both Bumrah and the disheartened LSG dugout.

Bishnoi hitting a six off Bumrah was a rare moment, it was only the second six of his 76-match IPL career, showing just how unexpected it was. Even though the shot didn’t change the result much, it was a special personal moment for Bishnoi in an otherwise tough game. LSG ended up losing by 54 runs, but that six gave him something to smile about.

Mumbai Indians put up a huge score of 215 runs, thanks to strong knocks from Ryan Rickelton, who made 58, and Suryakumar Yadav, who scored 54. In the end, it was Jasprit Bumrah’s superb bowling that made the difference, helping Mumbai clinch a big 54-run win.
