ILT20 2025-26 Full Schedule: Dates, Matches, Venues & Timings The International League T20 (ILT20) 2026 is set to begin on December 2, 2025, featuring six teams: Abu Dhabi Knight Riders, Desert Vipers, Dubai Capitals, Gulf Giants, MI Emirates and Sharjah Warriorz. The fourth season of the UAE’s top T20 league will kick off with an exciting match between the defending champions, Dubai Capitals and two-time runners-up, Desert Vipers at the Dubai International Stadium. After 30 league matches, the top two teams will face off in Qualifier 1 with the winner earning a direct spot in the Final.

This tournament, known for exciting T20 cricket, is also generating off-field buzz with talks about Ravichandran Ashwin’s plans after the IPL and the schedule clash with South Africa’s SA20. Just days after ending his IPL and international career, 38-year-old Ashwin is gearing up for a new chapter, which could start with the ILT20 auction on September 30 in Dubai.

With registration closing on September 10, Ashwin has confirmed he’s in talks with the tournament organisers, aiming to make his first appearance in an overseas league. If selected, he would join Ambati Rayudu, Robin Uthappa and Yusuf Pathan as the only Indian players to have featured in the ILT20 so far. With 221 IPL matches and 187 wickets ranking fifth all-time in IPL history, Ashwin is expected to attract big attention at the auction, possibly as a player-cum-coach while exploring leagues like Major League Cricket and The Hundred after the UAE.

On the tournament side, the third and fourth-placed teams will meet in the Eliminator, with the winner taking on the losing side of Qualifier 1 on January 2. The winner of that match will earn the final spot in the summit clash scheduled for January 4, 2026. Since its start in 2023, three different teams have won the ILT20 title: Gulf Giants (2023), MI Emirates (2024) and Dubai Capitals (2025).
