Earlier, the Pakistani government has announced that the team will boycott the match against India in the T20 World Cup. ICC and PCB officials met in Lahore today, and PCB made these demands:

>They want ICC to make sure Indian players shake hands after matches.

>They want BCCI to play bilateral series with PCB.

The ICC would have wanted to know the reason why PCB was not interested in playing and meetings are in progress to arrive at a solution. Furthermore, Sri Lanka Cricket approached the PCB and asked them to consider their decision because, if they were going to cancel the game, it would result in losses.

The match between India and Pakistan is a very important game and is valued at $250 million. If there is no India vs Pak match, then all the boards concerned will stand to lose enormously. Therefore, talks to make the match possible on time continue.
