The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) announced the England team for the T20 World Cup 2026 and their white-ball tour of Sri Lanka. There is one more week left before the ICC deadline expiration. England has released their Squad.

The Sri Lanka National Cricket Team, known as the Lions, is a team that has made significant contributions to the game of cricket.

The presence of Jofra Archer is the biggest boost to the English Squad. The pacer had suffered an injury during the third test of the Ashes series in Adelaide and had to travel back to England. Jofra Archer will not take part in the 3-match T20 international and ODI series against Sri Lanka, with Brydon Carse taking his place in the T20 and ODI series against Sri Lanka. However, he is expected to have regained fitness when the T20 World Cup matches of England begin against Nepal on February 8.

Jofra Archer Bowler

Jofra Archer is a 30-year-old English cricketer from Barbados, born on April 1, 1995, who is known as a right-arm fast bowler.

The same international team of the ECB is being sent to the ODI series as well. The aim here is to get the players adjusted to the climate. Joe Root is included, and the inclusion of Zak Crawley will make the England ODI team have players in it last seen in December 2023.
