Pat Cummins to Miss Sri Lanka Tour

During the recent Border Gavaskar trophy, Cummins successfully led the Australian team to victory, winning the prestigious trophy after a decade. Australia defeated India by 3-1.
What Selector Said About Pat Cummins Unavailability
Cricket Australia's Chairman of Selectors, George Bailey, did not provide any assurance of Pat Cummins' availability for the upcoming ICC Champions Trophy. The Tournament will start on February 19 and end on March 9 with the Final.
When explicitly asked about Cummins's injury and participation in the Champions Trophy, he didn't commit to his inclusion in the squad.
“Not really sure yet, we'll have to wait and see when that scan comes back and where it's tracking,"
"There's a little bit of work to do; he's got a little bit of a sore ankle as well.
So I think in the next week or so, he's got a scan coming and we'll get a bit more information around where that's at," Bailey added.

This is not a new injury with Pat Cummins, he has been suffering from it for a long time, he was in discomfort in the recent series against India and bore the pain to successfully leading the team and defeating India in the Border Gavaskar trophy by 3-1. Pat Cummins was the highest wicket taker from the Australian side with 25 wickets.
Josh Hazelwood Injury
This is another blow to the team as star Pacer Josh Hazelwood is already facing injury issues, which led to his unavailability in the last two matches of the border Gavaskar trophy.
On Josh Hazelwood’s availability, Baily said,
He's working really hard, and all the news on how he's responding to the calf injury is coming along really well," said Bailey. "It was just probably a little bit tight (to include Hazlewood in the Test squad for Sri Lanka) given the amount of time he would've missed and again looking how we potentially may structure up those loads the quicks may be put under," he added.
