BCCI Announces Rs 7.5 Crore Prize for India U-19 Team After World Cup Win

The BCCI has announced a reward of Rupees 7.5 Crores for the Indian Men's U19 team for their excellent performance during U19 World Cup Final in Harare. Captain Ayush Mhatre led India to victory against England by 100 Runs to capture India's sixth U19 World Cup Title.

The team went through the U19 tournament undefeated. Showing total consistency and confidence during the entire tournament. BCCI Secretary Devajit Saikia stated that, India performance is great pride for India now with regard to this young group for their exceptional performance during the U19 World Cup Final.

BCCI Board will continue to maintain their past initiative by providing each member of the U19 team a cash reward of Rupees 7.5 Crores based on their performance during this current tournament.
BCCI secretary Devajit Saikia told ANI that,

 “The whole country and the BCCI are proud of our Under-19 side on their Under-19 World Cup 2026 victory. The way our team defeated England in the final, and how they remained undefeated throughout the tournament, we are all proud. The BCCI will reward the team with a Rs 7.5 crore cash prize.”
