Asia Cup Schedule: India-Pakistan Clash Expected on September 7 as Asia Cup Begins September 5 in UAE

The confusion around the Asia Cup 2025 is starting to clear up, as a recent report suggests the tournament will likely be held in the first week of September. There had been a lot of doubt about whether the event would happen at all this year, mainly because of the rising tension between India and Pakistan.
This tension followed a terrible terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, where 26 people lost their lives. In response, India carried out a military strike aimed at destroying terrorist camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK).
According to Timesofindia.com, the Asia Cup is set to begin on September 5 and will take place in the UAE. Although it's being held there, the BCCI will still keep the official hosting rights. The tournament will run for 17 days and will feature six teams: India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, and the UAE.
