5 Players LSG Should Target in the IPL 2026 Auction ft. Adam Zampa

The Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) once again missed out on the IPL playoffs in 2025, continuing their streak of disappointing seasons. They finished 7th on the points table, winning 6 matches and losing 8.

Even after acquiring the services of Indian wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant for a record of INR 27 crore, they still did not make the playoffs. Since 2022, the team has always targeted high goals in the franchise, but the trophy has eluded them.

As the IPL 2026 auction approaches, significant changes are expected from the franchise. The list below provides players that LSG might want to acquire in pursuit of rebuilding and coming back stronger for the 2026 IPL season.

With his boy-ish looks and a similar action, a teen-aged Adam Zampa drew immediate comparisons with Shane Warne.

Australian spinner Adam Zampa is among the best spin bowlers in the world. If LSG wants to strengthen their spin attack, Zampa would be a strong choice. He has done well in leagues around the globe and has proven himself in the IPL too.

The 2025 Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) roster features Rishabh Pant as captain, alongside other key players like Nicholas Pooran, Mitchell Marsh, and Mayank Yadav.

LSG may try hard to bring back Will O’Rourke for the next season. He played for them in IPL 2025 as a temporary replacement, but the rules don’t allow the team to retain him.
