Jonathan Marc Bairstow (born 26 September 1989) is a premier English right-handed wicket-keeper-batter known for his aggressive, high-scoring style in all three formats of the game. A key member of England's 2019 Cricket World Cup-winning side, he has played extensively for Yorkshire and various T20 franchises, including a prominent stint with Welsh Fire in The Hundred.

• For the sensational 654 runs in the 2007 season of English County Cricket, Jonny was named the winner of the Young Wisden Schools Cricketer of the
year award.

• In the 2008 season, he played second-XI cricket for Yorkshire, scoring 308 runs in 6 matches at an average of 61.60.

• Bairstow, being a wicketkeeper, has twice claimed nine dismissals in a test match; first against South Africa in January 2016 and second against Sri Lanka in May 2016.
