The Hobart Hurricanes are a professional men's Twenty20 cricket team based in Hobart, Tasmania, that competes in Australia's Big Bash League (BBL). The team was founded in 2011 as an inaugural member of the league and plays most home games at Blundstone Arena. The Hurricanes' biggest success came in the 2024–25 season when they won their maiden BBL title, a victory achieved partly through the exceptional performance of Mitchell Owen, who scored a record-equalling 39-ball century in the final.
