The team's current captain is Peni Vuniwaqa and the coach is Jone Seuvou. They have participated in the Cricket World Cup Qualifier several times, with their best result being 11th place in 1997. The Fiji men's national cricket team has not won major international trophies but has achieved success in regional and qualifying tournaments, such as winning the 2006 ICC EAP Cricket Trophy and the 2004 EAP Challenge. The team has also been runners-up in several tournaments, including the final of the 2005 ICC EAP Challenge and the 2003 South Pacific Games cricket tournament.
