The 15th season of the Big Bash League (BBL|15) runs from December 14, 2025, to January 25, 2026, featuring eight teams competing in 44 matches across Australia. The tournament begins with Perth Scorchers hosting Sydney Sixers at Optus Stadium. Defending champions Hobart Hurricanes aim to retain their maiden title against five-time winners Scorchers. 

This season features a strong international presence, with Babar Azam making his BBL debut for Sydney Sixers, while Pakistani stars Shaheen Afridi (Brisbane Heat) and Mohammad Rizwan (Melbourne Renegades) also feature prominently. The top four teams advance to playoffs, culminating in the final on January 25. Australian Test stars may rejoin their BBL squads for the finals following the Ashes series.
