The Women's Premier League 2025 is returning for a third season. The world's largest women's cricket league will commence on 14th February and extend over a month, concluding with the finals on 15th March. With each new season, the reach of the WPL is expanding as more young and talented women cricketers emerge across the country. In this article, he will discuss the top 5 emerging players to watch in the upcoming WPL 2025.

G Kamalini-Mumbai Indians

The young woman cricketer G. Kamalini recently made a name for herself in women's cricket after securing a 1.6 crore contract with the Mumbai Indians. Kamalini has a significant batting record; in the recent U-15 Day Trophy, she scored 458 runs in 8 matches, becoming the highest run scorer of the tournament. She also played a crucial, match-winning knock of 56* against England in the semifinals.

Simran Shaikh- Gujarat Titans

Simran, who comes from Mumbai, emerged as the most expensive player at the WPL 2025 auction with a mouthwatering price tag of 1.9 crore. Simran's few last years were full of ups and downs; after a challenging WPL 2023 season, she went unsold in the WPL 2024 auction. However, with strong resilience and determination, she worked hard and performed brilliantly in the recent domestic season and was then picked up by Gujarat Titans in the WPL 2025 auction.

Prema Rawat- Royal Challengers Bengaluru

Prema Rawat, a 23-year-old leg spinner all-rounder from Uttarakhand, made significant news after an intense bidding war in the WPL 2025 auction, where RCB ultimately won the bid. In her recent domestic performances, she took 29 wickets across four different tournaments and also scored crucial runs with the bat. While in the Uttarakhand Premier League, she led the Mussoorie Thunders to victory.

Niki Prasad- Delhi Capitals

Nikki Prasad, the captain of the Indian women's under-19 team who recently won the World Cup for India, was acquired by Delhi Capitals in the WPL 2025 auction. With her recent performance, while playing for India and in domestic tournaments, she will be one of the most-watched players in the upcoming Women's Premier League 2025.

Joshita VJ- Royal Challengers Bengaluru

Joshita, another RCB player, will attract a lot of cricket fans' attention in the upcoming Women's Premier League. After a strong and impressive performance in the recent domestic tournaments, she will be closely watched by the Indian selectors, given her exceptional batting abilities.
