The last game between both teams earlier in this season ended up being a nail-biting thriller, and the upcoming match is also expected to be the same. UP Warriorz vs Royal Challengers Bengaluru: Head to Head

In the five matches played against each other so far in three seasons, Royal Challengers Bengaluru won three of them while UP Warriorz won only two games. UP won the first-ever game played between both teams in the 2023 season, while RCB won both games in the last season. In the last encounter at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium this season, the match got tied, and UP Warriorz defeated RCB in the super over.

In match number 9 of this season, played on 24th February, RCB batted first and scored 181, thanks to a magnificent innings of 90 not out from Ellyse Perry and 57 from Danni Wyatt. While chasing the target, UP started aggressively but lost three wickets during the powerplay. Later, with contributions from Shweta Serawat and Sophie Ecclestone, UP levelled the score, taking the match to a super over. Batting first in the super over, UP scored eight runs for one wicket. In pursuit of the nine-run target, RCB could only manage four runs, resulting in their loss. 

UP Warriorz’s Performance in the WPL 2025

UP Warriorz has played seven matches so far in the current season of the Women's Premier League but has won only two of them. With just 4 points after seven matches, UPW’s chances for playoff qualification are nearly negligible. The team registered its first victory against Delhi Capitals on February 22nd by 33 runs, while its second victory came against RCB in a super-over showdown. UP lost both of its matches against Mumbai Indians and Gujarat Giants, as well as one game against Delhi Capitals.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru’s Performance in the WPL 2025

In the six matches played so far this season, RCB won its first two matches against Gujarat Giants and Delhi Capitals. In the tournament opener against Gujarat Giants, RCB created history with a record run chase of 202 runs, the highest ever in the history of WPL. However, in the next matches against Mumbai Indians, UP Warriorz, Gujarat Giants, and Delhi Capitals, RCB lost all four matches in a row.
