While 2024 was an aberration, GT is in the playoffs once again, making them one of the most consistent teams in recent years.
So far, GT has never played in Eliminator. Both times, GT played in Qualifier 1, winning one and losing one. This time, though, GT will be in the Eliminator against the Mumbai Indians. GT has already beaten MI twice this season in the league stage, and they will be confident.
