After the exciting action over the last three weeks, we have reached the last group stage match of the third edition of the Women's Premier League. The upcoming match will be between the defending Champions, Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Mumbai Indians. This article will discuss RCB's predicted playing 11 for the upcoming match.

After winning the first two matches of the season, RCB remained at the top for almost 10 days. However, after that, the team, in a disappointing display of cricket, lost five matches in a row and is currently in last position of the points table with just four points. Top Order

For the top order, RCB has a star Indian batter, captain Smriti Mandhana, and Sabbhineni Meghana as the openers. This season has been far from ideal for Mandhana, as she has scored less than 150 runs in 7 matches played. Meanwhile, Meghana, who made it into the playing XI in the last match, scored quickly with 27 off 12 balls, including two sixes and two boundaries, but was dismissed early. In the third position, Ellyse Perry will be leading; Perry is currently the second-highest run-scorer of the season with 323 runs in seven innings. She has scored five half-centuries with an impressive average of 98.33 and a highest score of 90*.

Middle Order 

For the middle order, RCB’s playing XI will include Raghvi Bisht, Richa Ghosh, and Kanika Ahuja. In the six matches played so far, Richa has scored 194 runs with an average of 39.80 and an impressive strike rate of 177.98. Raghvi Bisht, after being given the opportunity in the last two matches, has scored 22 and 33 runs in those games. 

Lower Order

In the lower order, Georgia Wareham and Kim Garth will be responsible for scoring some quick runs in the last few overs. 

Bowler

On the bowling side, RCB is having Sneh Rana, Ekta Bisht, and Renuka Singh. Renuka Singh has been impressive this season, taking 10 wickets in six matches played, and is currently one of the highest wicket-takers in the Purple Cap race. All-rounders Ellyse Perry, Kim Garth, and Georgia Wareham will also play a key role. Along with her contributions with the bat, Georgia Wareham has taken nine wickets so far this season, fulfilling a crucial all-rounder role.
