PSL 2026: Points Table, Most Runs, & Most Wickets after Babar’s fastest century against Quetta
Peshawar Zalmi have virtually confirmed a top-two finish for themselves after defeating Quetta Gladiators for the second time in a week. This time, the 118-run win was even more dominant, and so has been the surge in their Net Run Rate. Zalmi, who are yet to lose this PSL, have now won seven games on the bounce with a 2.91 NRR.
This result has made things more complicated for Quetta Gladiators, though they remain in fourth place for now. They are tied on points with three other teams, all of whom have at least one game in hand and are eyeing that final playoff spot. Quetta will need several results to go their way, the most important being wins in both of their remaining matches.
With their win over Karachi Kings, Multan Sultans have moved into second place, but they still need at least one more victory to confirm their spot in the playoffs.
Zalmi’s Sufiyan Muqeem continues to lead the wicket-takers chart, though his streak of five consecutive three-wicket hauls came to an end. He now has 17 wickets, four more than Shaheen Shah Afridi, who is next on the list.
Babar Azam (401) and Kusal Mendis (413) have further solidified their positions at the top of the run-scorers list. They remain comfortably ahead of Quetta’s Hasan Nawaz, who sits third with 288 runs.
