Pakistan Lodge Complaint Over Controversial DRS Review in Bangladesh ODI Decider

Pakistan complained to match referee Neeyamur Rashid after a controversial DRS call in the last over of the third ODI against Bangladesh. The problem was that umpire Kumar Dharmasena allowed Bangladesh to review the second-last ball, even though it seemed to go against the usual rules.
"The Pakistan team management believe Bangladesh took the review after a replay of the delivery flashed up on the big screen, and as a result came up (to the referee) after the game and informed (him) about their observation," a source confirmed to Cricbuzz.
"Pakistan felt Bangladesh were allowed to review outside the maximum 15 seconds (window) within which such a decision must be made," he said.
Pakistan raise DRS timing concern after late review call in third ODI
Cricbuzz understands that Pakistan head coach Mike Hesson met Rashid after the match to officially make the complaint. While it isn't clear what outcome PCB are seeking from the complaint, insiders suggest the match referee met with Hesson and tried to explain the situation in detail, suggesting the hosts did not take any undue advantage.
The moment happened when Pakistan were chasing 291 and were nine wickets down, needing 12 runs from the last two balls. Rishad Hossain bowled down the leg side to Shaheen Afridi, and umpire Kumar Dharmasena called it a wide. Bangladesh could not review the wide call directly, but they appealed for LBW, which sent the decision to the third umpire.
