MI were cruising at 127/0 at the halfway mark. Mohsin Khan eventually broke the massive opening stand, dismissing Rickelton for a stunning 83 off 32 balls. Rohit Sharma looked set for a century but fell for 84 off 44 balls.

Tilak Varma couldn’t contribute much, falling for 11, while Suryakumar Yadav’s lean patch continued with a quick dismissal for 12. However, there were no further hiccups as Naman Dhir (23*) and Will Jacks (10*) calmly guided MI home. Mumbai Indians chased it down comfortably, winning by 6 wickets with 8 balls to spare, sealing an important victory.
