IPL 2026 Jersey Reveal: Mumbai Indians Introduce New Blue Kit with Wave-Gold Design

IPL season will begin in just over a month, yet we cannot wait to see some of the signs that IPL 2026 has already begun with officials at the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) preparing their team all while T20 World Cup 2026 is being held right now - teams preparing for next year's IPL season before this year's T20 World Cup had even commenced. MI has just launched their new jersey for IPL 2026.
The three main members of the MI team, Hardik Pandya, Jasprit Bumrah & Rohit Sharma, were featured in the MI jersey reveal video which built huge excitement among fans about their new uniform. The MI's new uniform maintains the main blue theme but removes the gold strip that has been an iconic element of MI since their inception as an IPL franchise. The uniform will still bear the primary sponsorship from MI's continuing primary sponsor - Lauritz Knudsen, however, Lauritz Knudsen will now be located to the right of the MI logo instead of in the centre of the MI logo. In addition to Lauritz Knudsen, MI will also feature a sponsorship from Malaysia Airlines on the front left chest in place of the former sponsor, IDFC First Bank.
Mumbai Indians Launch New Jersey for IPL 2026
Skechers continues as the jersey sponsor for Mumbai Indians. However, the team has not completely removed the gold colour. A wave-like gold pattern appears on the sides of the jersey, representing the Arabian Sea. The official match jersey is priced at INR 5,999 on the Mumbai Indians’ website. It is customisable, with fans being able to write any player’s name on the back with a jersey number as well.
This is a bit expensive, considering CSK launched their new jersey at INR 2399. At INR 2499, fans can get MI custom replica edition jersey. Meanwhile, the training jersey has also been launched by MI, being priced at INR 999. The official fan jersey (men) is priced at INR 999 as well.
