IPL 2025 Points Table: Updated Team Ranking, Standings, and Net Run Rate After SRH vs PBKS

IPL 2025 Points Table: Updated Team Ranking, Standings, and Net Run Rate After SRH vs PBKSAt the Ekana Stadium on Saturday, the Lucknow Super Giants put on a dominant show, crushing the Gujarat Titans by 6 wickets. Fifties from Aiden Markram and Nicholas Pooran powered the home side to a commanding total setting up the massive win. With this victory, LSG climbed to third in the standings, now level on points with the Delhi Capitals and Titans though they trail slightly due to a lower net run rate.

Later in the evening, Abhishek Sharma lit up the stage with a sensational century as Sunrisers Hyderabad pulled off a record chase hunting down 246 against Punjab Kings with eight wickets in hand. The win lifted SRH to seventh on the points table. On the other hand, the Titans after taking a big hit to their NRR slipped one spot down to second place.

Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) stunned the Punjab Kings (PBKS) with a thumping 8-wicket win in Match 27 of IPL 2025. After being put in to bat, Punjab looked in complete control, piling up a massive 245/6 in their 20 overs largely thanks to a captain’s knock from Shreyas Iyer, who smashed 82 off just 36 balls.

But SRH responded in breathtaking fashion, pulling off the second-highest successful chase in IPL history. Abhishek Sharma was the standout performer scoring an impressive 141 runs from just 55 balls including 10 sixes and 14 fours. His opening partner, Travis Head played the perfect supporting role with a fiery 66 off 37 as SRH chased down the target in just 18.3 overs.

The win propelled Sunrisers two spots up to eighth on the points table, with two wins from six matches and a total of four points. Meanwhile, Punjab Kings, despite their strong batting display slipped to sixth place with three wins from five games and six points overall.
