Indian spinner Rahul Chahar announces divorce, says he moves forward with clarity

Indian leg-spinner Rahul Chahar on Friday, February 20, announced his separation from his wife Ishani Johar via Instagram. The couple had been together for over 3.5 years after their wedding in Goa on 9 March 2022.Taking to the social media handle, the 26-year-old expressed his feelings in a heartfelt post.

The Sunrisers Hyderabad leggie claimed that he had entered this relationship at a young age and did not understand what he wanted at that time. In his elaborated message.

he began, “I entered marriage at a young age, before I fully understood myself, my worth, or the life I truly wanted to build. What followed were years of lessons I never expected, and the last fifteen months spent navigating courtrooms, learning patience, resilience, and the strength that some from in truth.”

He further added, writing, “Today, that chapter of my life formally comes to a close. After due legal process, the matter has been settled with my resolution that costed a lot, bringing finality to this phase of my life. I close this chapter not with anger or regret, but with clarity.”

Rahul Chahar also reconciled, “Some relationships are not meant to last forever, they are meant to awaken us, teach us. and transform us. I move forward wiser, more self-aware, and certain of the life I deserve to build.”

Chahar believes that his time from 2023 isn't done yet and wants to continue to advance in life while retaining "self-respect, peace, and good decisions." Therefore, he plans to get ready for the IPL season, which is taking place between March and May of 2026. Chahar will wear a CSK jersey for the first time because he received INR 5.20 Crores through the accelerated process after he was overlooked for selection in the mini-auction for IPL 2026. Chahar was formerly released by SRH, and he will be working to make a comeback to the top with the Yellow Army.
